After reviewing your Online Intake Form, I may have some question for you. I will likely perform assess- ments, like Orthopedic tests, a Posture Assessment, or muscle tests to get an idea about the root cause of your pain.
Based on the intake interview, answering your questions and results of assessments, I will suggest what seems to be the cause of your condition and the steps I will use to treat your condition, how often, for how long, referrals to other healthcare professionals, if needed.
You will be instructed about how we will start on the table, what to expect and shown the changing area. A hot or cold pack may be prepared as needed. During treatment, it’s important to give feed- back. Appropriate draping will always be provided, with the area being worked the only undraped area. You may be asked to help with certain techniques - like assisted stretching or resistance techniques
After your treatment, you may be offered self-care routines to use at home between sessions. These may include simple stretches, relaxation exercises, or recording pain levels. Such follow up is often crucial to progress and updating treatment
